1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Tennz mobile application, website, community features, and support communications. It should be read together with the App Agreement and the separate in-app EULA.
2. Information we collect
- Account data: email address, password or authentication information, registration status, and the accepted EULA version.
- Profile data: display name, avatar, biography, and optional birthday, city, and gender.
- Community content and activity: photos, videos, captions, comments, likes, follows, reports, blocks, and messages you choose to create, together with the relationships needed to display and manage those actions.
- Support data: the information you include when contacting us.
- Purchase and coin data: product identifier, transaction status, coin balance, and coin usage associated with Tennz AI. Apple processes payment credentials; Tennz does not receive your full payment-card details.
We collect this information when you register, complete or edit a profile, publish or interact with content, communicate with another eligible user, use Tennz AI, purchase or use coins, use safety controls, or contact support.
3. Device permissions
Tennz asks for a sensitive permission only when you use a feature that needs it. You can deny or later change permission access in iOS Settings, although the related feature may then be unavailable.
Camera
Camera access supports taking profile photos and capturing photos or short videos for posts. Captured media is not submitted until you confirm the action.
Photo library
Photo-library access lets you select images or videos for avatars and community posts. Tennz accesses only the media you actively select under the permissions provided by iOS. Selected media is submitted only after you confirm the relevant profile or publishing action.
Microphone
Microphone access supports voice-enabled chat features. Recording begins only after you deliberately start a supported voice interaction; no audio is intentionally captured without that action and permission.
Location
Location access can help fill your city or support relevant community recommendations after you choose “Get Current Location.” You can instead type a city manually. Location permission is optional and is not required to use unrelated features.
4. Information generated through use
Tennz processes session status and feature interactions needed to provide the service, including post and comment relationships, follow and mutual-follow status, like status, block status, purchase state, and agreement acceptance. We do not use these interactions for cross-app tracking or third-party advertising.
5. How information is used
- create and maintain accounts and profiles;
- display posts, comments, follows, likes, and messages according to your actions;
- provide free private chat when users mutually follow one another and enforce blocking choices;
- operate Tennz AI, verify available coins, and deduct the displayed coin amount when the feature is used;
- process eligible Apple In-App Purchases and maintain the resulting coin balance, separately from private chat;
- respond to support, safety, privacy, and account requests;
- prevent abuse, investigate reports, and comply with legal obligations;
- maintain, troubleshoot, and improve service reliability.
6. Sharing and disclosure
Profile information and content you choose to publish can be visible to other Tennz users. Messages are visible to their participants. Information may be shared with Apple for purchase processing and with contracted technology providers only where needed to operate features such as hosting, AI responses, or support. Each provider that receives user data is required to provide the same or equivalent protection described in this policy and may process the data only for the contracted purpose. We may also disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and service integrity. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
7. AI processing
Text you submit to Tennz AI is processed to generate a response. Do not submit sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for the conversation. AI output may be inaccurate and should be independently evaluated.
8. Retention and security
Account and profile information is retained while the account remains active. Published content and interactions are retained until you delete them, delete the account, or they are removed under our safety rules. Support communications, safety records, and purchase transaction references are retained only for the period reasonably required to resolve the request, prevent abuse, maintain transaction integrity, or meet legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure.
9. Your choices, consent, and deletion
You may edit available profile fields, decline a permission, revoke a previously granted permission in iOS Settings, delete content where controls are provided, and block or unblock users. Revoking a permission stops future access through that permission but may prevent the related feature from operating.
You can initiate full account deletion from Settings > Delete Account in Tennz. Account deletion removes the account and associated personal data, including photos, videos, posts, and comments, except records that must be retained for legal compliance, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or transaction integrity. You may also contact us for access, correction, restriction, objection, or deletion requests available under applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
10. Children
Tennz is not directed to children below the minimum age required to consent to online services in their jurisdiction. If you believe a child has provided personal information contrary to applicable requirements, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
11. International use and updates
Information may be processed where Tennz or its supporting providers operate, subject to applicable safeguards. We may update this policy when the service or law changes and will revise the effective date. Material changes will be communicated as appropriate.
